KIRBY !!!!
what can i say this little guy has been with me for too many years to count . first game i ever played was super star ultra and its still my favorite ! second favorite is return to dreamland but thats pretty much universally loved so IM KINDA BASIC FOR SAYING I LIKE IT... and sure i may have played most of the mainline games, but ive missed out on the 3ds games as well as crystal shards buuuut thats still MOST OF THEM STILL PLAYED. what im trying to say is that I FUCKING LOVE KIRBY !!! BAD KIRBY GAMES DON'T EXIST AND STAR ALLIES WAS A GOOD GAME I DONT CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS !!!! ^-^
(and by the way marx is my favorite character. hes the best. i love him hes just a baby boy)
RAIN WORLD !!!!
i love rain world so much i dont even know where to START !! rain world has pretty much taken over my life ever since february the second, two thousand twenty three. ever since then ive made friends from rain world, gotten 2 people (possibly 3 ?) into the game, and spent a little too much money on merchandise (just between me and you though, I HAVENT SPENT ENOUGH MONEY). and when it comes to the game itself, ive got to say that i fucking love and adore the movement and combat and GOD the difficulty. i get so cocky sometimes thinking "yeah i could destroy that little guy" and then i shortly become the little guy thats destroyed...
thats not all of it though ! i still got talk about all my other favorite shit about the game !!!! favorite slugcat HAS to be survivor. it used to be rivulet but i put them in the trash after stealing their name. favorite area though ? outer expance, no contest. prettiest and just overall best atmosphere i love that place so much. but if we're talking non downpour, it's a little bit harder to choose cause i really like most of the regions, they all have really good atmosphere and are ugly in a really pretty way. if i had to choose though id choose five pebbles, cause random gods (the song) just takes an already spectacular area of horror and beauty and wraps it up in a nice little present labeled "HORRORS BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION". favorite tracks are ancient and ELSE I. please go play rain world it is $25 on every current console and pc and it is insanely hard but oh my god so much fun
ULTRAKILL !!!
i love ultrakill to death. you could say its.. ultraKILLED me ! (please laugh please laugh ple) horrible terrible stinky jokes out of the way, i may not the best at ultrakilling but ive spent way too god damn long playing the game. and once again, just like i said with rain world, i adore the movement and combat. for the same reasons as before. my favorite layers are wrath and heresy, wrath's levels are a lot of fun in my opinion (but adding electricity damage to 5-1 was hellish, and i love it) and wrath just generally has the BEST music in the entire game, like i cant even say any of wrath's music is bad or mediocre. i USED to think one of them was medicore BUT NO I WAS JUST LAME AND A LOSER AND I FOUND OUT ITS GOOD AS HELL. heresy just looks sick and altars of apostacy is really REALLY fucking good as well.
THE BINDING OF ISAAC !!!!!!
so.. ive sunken.. a few hours into isaac. it would play it more too if i didnt lose half of my save file a while back. BUT ! that doesnt im not still playing the game cause oh my god i am STILL playing the game from time to time. no but for real though what is there really much to say about isaac ? like i love the game, the story speaks to me sorta, and i for some reason havent played flash isaac yet. maybe i should.. (i will.. one day...) either way, guess i'll share some of my favorite stuff. favorite song is burning basement's 'fundamentum', favorite area is downpour (not dross though), and my least favorite boss is rainmaker. i hate that gay boy. dont play isaac though its WAY too expensive. or maybe im just a little baby.
SPLATOON !!!
splatoon... splatoon..... hm. i dont know how to describe my relationship with splatoon. for as much as i love the game i can only play it in bursts. i played it in such a huge burst a while ago and now i cant play the game for more than like.. maybe 3 rounds ? and by huge burst by the way, i mean i played an unreasonable amount... (i wanna say around like 250 hours ?) i mained splatana wiper and occasionally flingza roller before eventually moving on to painbrush. i kind of peaked at some point in the middle of me playing wiper. i ended up reaching S rank in anarchy and i feel like if i got back into the game now i would genuinely never be able to reach that point again. games good musics good and i had fun when i played !
THE OWL HOUSE !!!!!!
yeah so like im kinda insane about the owl house. i always have the mindset of "i need to rewatch that" even if i watched it a week ago. im constantly thinking about toh and its sort of taken over my life after someone asked me to watch it. AND I DONT REGRET WATCHING IT !! favorite character is viney all the way 100% im her #1 fan. check out the poison ivy page right now right now right now. same problem here with the oneshot entry i cannot put into words how much i love toh so its kinda short...
VOICES OF THE VOID
oh god how do i even explain voices of the void ? its like.. youre this guy named dr. kel in the middle of the swiss woods in an abandoned space research station looking for signals in space. and also theres literal horrors that want you very very dead around like every other corner. i love this game to bits and pieces but it makes me piss myself every time i play it. the game itself makes EVERYTHING worse by making it so that you cant pause OR save while theres some sort of event going on or a threat nearby. let me say this again. the game DISABLES. THE ABILITY. TO PAUSE. YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE HORRORS. THEY WILL FIND YOU. AND THEY WILL KILL YOU. 11/10 my favorite horror game to ever be birthed i recommend it to anyone that has a mediocre or good pc. its free on itch.io go play it if youre able

i feel like anything i could every say about oneshot will never be able to express how i feel about oneshot, it makes my life complete and is one of the few pieces of media to make me almost cry ! whatever youre doing, stop doing that and go play oneshot. it is $15 on steam and every console. please. i love the characters and the puzzles and EVERYTHING.
if im ever able to put all my thoughts about this game together i'll rewrite this, but for now this is all i need to say. i love you oneshot !!
UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE !!!!!!
dude hell yeah i love me some undertale and deltarune put on the undertale deltarune TUNES and then remind me of the DREAD that is deltarune. but then remind me of the beauty that is undertale and everything will be ok again !! for real though im going to be honest undertale has not had much of an impact on me. like undertale is just .. a really good game to me. (unlike the previously mentioned oneshot) and sure some of it could be to blame from being in the "community" before really actually playing the game or being not old enough to understand the game. so undertale is likely just ruined for me. oops ! but deltarune ? i fucking love deltarune. i love deltarune and i will explode for it.
oh and by the way incase you didnt know deltarune chapters 1+2 are free on every console, including pc

i like my object shows like i like my girls........................ ill admit that i dont know where i was going with that joke but HEY I LIKE OBJECT SHOWS THATS FOR SURE !! to list a few we've got bfdi... ONE... animatic battle... love of the s*n... and probably more that i cant think of right now ! if i were to recommend one it would be. well. ONE. mostly cause i the characters are all lovely aaand the music is really good. oh and i support gay people. the ONE investigations miniseries was also really good and i cant wait to see if theres going to be even more to come out of the series... anyways GO WATCH OBJECT SHOWS (only if youre mentally unwell though. im gatekeeping object shows)

please oh PLEASE listen to yaelokre i beg of you listen to ALL of their stuff its all so good, and i wouldve added their music to the music player but i wanted to keep the music exclusively instrumentals. so. i had to fight the urges. and I WON ! oh yeah goatlings i wouldnt forget about YOU (i forgot about goatlings and had to be reminded) ive spent WAY too much time playing goatlings ive collected FIFTEEN weeks of daily rewards ive (barely) given TWO of my goats lore and ive based FOUR of my other goats off copyrighted material so I. AM. WINNING !!!!
also, goatlings is weird to get into. its like if you took neopets and just removed a lot of the things you can do. like theres realistically only like 2 or 3 things you could spend a lot of time doing on goatlings, and i have no idea how this has made me so addicted. its so simple, theres so little to do, but i log on every day to do my daily task and then sometimes proceed to get caught into a multi hour loop of playing goatlings. i fucking adore it. dont play goatlings. or... if you do... you should refer me, erincool (my goatlings username). that would be cool i think

holy SHIT lesbian dogwood my beloved, i remember randomly getting recommended this when it was at like.. 1000 views and i just immediately fell in love from all the sillyness and the wackyness and the characters and the writing and the EVERYTHING. please please please go watch lesbian dogwood it deserves so much more love compared to what its currently at right now, and its only part one of a series. i am so very excited for said series. when lesbian dogwood part 2 and 3 comes out my life will be complete

crypt of the necrodancer has actually been an interest of mine for a long long time now i dont even remember buying it i just know that i got it one day and i never really stopped playing it. if you like rhythm games and rogue-likes you'll adore necrodancer, i adore the music and the game is so so SO much fun. BUT GUESS WHAT ! THERES A SEQUEL !!! ITS COMING OUT EVENTUALLY AND I AM SO EXCITED FOR IT YOU DONT UNDERSTAND !!!!!!!!!!!! ive already played the demo they released for it way too much (i have an SS (pretty much a full clear) on the first two songs on HARD) and i STILL need to play it more. the sequel is called rift of the necrodancer by the way im too lazy to find a way to fit it into the rest of the paragraph.
